Today we are heading West again. We found the interesting town of Williams on Route 66. This town is known as the Gateway to the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon Railway is located here.
This town was very festive with 4th of July decorations and a lot of activities. Besides the many shops to browse there was a Bar B-Q and fair event near the historic railroad.
John scooted up and down the streets as Dee shopped to her hearts content. Ask to see Dee's beautiful earnings from the Zin Indian Tribe. Dee also bought a piece of furniture at an Antique store for Mia's doll house. Notice nothing has been bought for the gray hare.
John enjoyed the display of old tractors which include one made in Chagrin Falls in 1928.
Another thing to put on your bucket list, if you are heading West on Route 66, is the Pine Restaurant. Good food and over 40 kinds of pies. John really enjoyed the "CHERRY PIE."
OH! How I wanted a piece of carrot cake-40 pies and no carrot cake?????
Still hungry-The Gray Hare
